About John

John Kidd is an aerospace engineer who discovered a passion for jewelry making in Tucson. After moving to the desert for college, he found himself drawn to Xerocraft, a local maker space, where he initially sought to explore copper work.

What began as technical curiosity in the machine shop evolved into a deep dive into jewelry classes, where he fell in love with the craft. Today, encouraged by friends and guided by a commitment to quality and storytelling, John creates handmade pieces in copper, brass, and sterling silver—each one reflecting the textures, patinas, and earthy aesthetic of the Southwest he calls home.
